God is good. I need to live and choose joy. I need to glorify His Name. There are hard days and there are easy days, good days and bad days, but that doesn’t change that my God is good. My God is on His throne. My God doesn’t change. My God’s word is good.
God brought me here. He gave me this life. He’s given me choices along the way. And in those choices, He’s led me. In those choices, He’s taught me. In those choices, He’s trained me. In those choices, He’s directed me, molded me, changed me, matured me, humbled me, made me just a bit more like Him.
There may be good things and bad things by my definition. But all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). All things work together for my good.
Because My God is good.
And that means so much. It means He’s faithful. It means that He works all things for my good, not just some things. It means in all my steps, all the choices He’s given me, He will work things for my good.
Because He is able (Ephesians 3:20-21, Romans 16:25, Jude 24-25, and a bunch more). He is able even when I’m not. He is able even when I’ve messed up. He is able because He is God and He is good.
No matter what, God is still good. He doesn’t change no matter what comes my way, no matter if it’s a good day or bad day. I live because He lives. God is good.
