I have no fight in me. Jesus, I need You to fight for me. You are my sword. Fight for me.
And here we are again. Shout joyfully to the Lord (Psalm 100:1). Serve the Lord with gladness (Psalm 100:2).
He’s in charge. He’s in control. He’s got everything covered.

I can shout joyfully because He is good. He’s a good God to have in control.
And I can serve Him, submit to Him, rest in Him, praise Him. With gladness.
Gladly, I will serve Him, take Him at His word, love Him.
I know that He is God. I know He made me. I know I didn’t make myself (Psalm 100:3). I know He directs my steps. I know He designs my days. I know He has called me and provided all my needs. I know He is faithful to complete what He started in me. And He will fight for me.
You have fought for me, Jesus. And You don’t change, so You will fight for me again. Today, right now.
Father, I don’t even have a shout in me. Even that, I need from you. A joyful shout. A reminder of what I’m thankful for. Every little breath and moment, I need from You.
Fight for me. Guard me in my weakness. Give me a shout of praise.
I take Him at His word. He will fight for me.
